Dear football players, colleagues, partners and children.
After the very successful golf tournament on 31 May 2024, the annual Embavel football tournament 1 June 2024 was on the calendar.
After a very successful registration period, the teams could be arranged at the level and the complex of Voetbal Association Bavel could be prepared. With registration of 30 football teams, that is a challenge, but it was still successful.
Finally, the teams were able to again enter into the sporting battle with colleagues from different countries such as, Scotland, England, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. The 21st tournament was a fact.
For many of us it would be a reunion of acquaintances and nice colleagues. Of course we also saw many new faces and of course our appreciated retired colleagues were also present. Everyone is and remains welcome at the tournament.
In the autumn of 2023 we were again allowed to organize the Embavel Voetbal Tournament again.
Traditionally the day after the golf tournament, which it is and remains a special weekend for us, organization.
We are proud to say that the tournament went great again. The pleasure, the nice weather and of course the people of v.v. Bavel have made a major contribution to this. The participating teams have behaved very collegial and with respect for each other. The referees were very satisfied with the positive attitude of the players. The different levels of the players were taken into account. We as an organization are very proud of that. Personally, I find the tournament as a pleasant family day where we can shake hands at ExxonMobil and meet each other in a different capacity. That is why we will try again in the event of approval of management in 2025 to give shape to the EM Sport Weekend. In the coming months you can continue to follow the information on our media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and of course the site www.embavel.nl.
We as an organization enjoyed it again and we hope you too. It was very nice for us to see that our colleagues from all countries were satisfied with their position in the ranking, there can only be the best. Participating remains the most important thing. A FairPlay Cup is just like that, if not more important than the first place.

Our thanks go to the management of ExxonMobil, they made it possible this year that we as colleagues with partners and children have had a great day. The weather was not very beautiful but sporty pleasure all the more. That is why it is an extra drive for us as an organization to be able to organize again the next year.
